Firefox: • I couldn't get CIP to work, even after uninstalls, reinstalls, etc. • Got it to work on the login page (finally) after making the about:config security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_128_sha/256 change to false and then manually adding the CIP certificate to the certificate list in Firefox • Even though the login functionality of the CIP works for the Web Client, i can't do things like upload files to the datastores through the web client Opera: • Everything works except the remote console. You can get it to come up but the mouse cursor is like the old RILO boards from HP where it isn't pointing in the right spot Internet Explorer: • I can't get the CIP to work, at all. I've tried the certificate remove and re-add for CIP in intermediate trusts and ensured the functions were all checked that needed to be.
No go, doesn't work. I'm at a loss here. I can't manage my VMware environment with any other browser and Chrome worked just beautifully without having to do all this other crap to get it to work until the 42 and up versions where you had to enable NPAPI and now just 45 breaks everything. Does anyone have any advice on how to get this working 100% within one browser and not have to co-exist with thick client and 2 browsers to get complete functionality back. (Except, of course, the VMware Update Manager which requires the thick client.still.). S.Lee I haven't installed Windows 10 at work yet so I don't have the Edge browser. Still on Windows 7 Pro x64.
